Wools will make Portobello a staple of your winter work wardrobe. (Unless you're like me, and work from home, in which case I should probably do an elasticated waist Portobello hack for us...!)![Portobello Trouser fabric ideas4](https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0725/7833/5029/files/Portobello-Trouser-fabric-ideas4-1.jpg)
7 Cashmere wool blend (Dragonfly Fabrics), 8 Wool mix suiting (Fabric Godmother), 9 Natural wool (Dragonfly Fabrics)
If you're a print-lover, then these trousers are just inviting you to swathe your lower half in the boldest of blooms or the most grabbing of graphics!![Portobello Trouser fabric ideas2](https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0725/7833/5029/files/Portobello-Trouser-fabric-ideas2.jpg)

Keep your cool on holiday with natural fibres in light colours and beach-friendly prints. How I dream of lounging on a tropical poolside in a pair of batik trousers with a cotton crop-top, pina colada in hand ... (Actually, I don't care for pina coladas – but they just sound so right!)![Portobello Trouser fabric ideas3](https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0725/7833/5029/files/Portobello-Trouser-fabric-ideas3.jpg)
16 Batik cotton (Fabrics Galore), 17 Fine linen (Dragonfly Fabrics), 18 Tie-dye cotton linen (Ditto Fabrics)
I can't help but be inspired by this broad selection – I now want ALL the trousers! But given it's spring here (no wools) and I've no upcoming jaunts to balmy climes (no batiks) I'll have to make do with seeing what you all make :) Disclaimer: we haven't handled most of these fabrics ourselves in person, so recommend that you always order a swatch if you're unsure about the suitability of a fabric.
