The Alameda Slip Dress and Skirt is a bias-cut slinky sensation. The Dress has a nipped-in waist seam (with optional side seam zip) to lend flattering definition, whilst the Skirt features an elasticated waistband. Choose between two skirt lengths: below-the-knee or midi above-the-ankle. Sophistication and elegance meet comfort and ease in a deceptively simple pattern. 

Skill level: confident beginner

Suitable fabrics:

Fabrics with plenty of drape, e.g. crepe, viscose, silk, linen. 

Notions:

For the dress: 1 x 14-inch concealed zipper for the dress (optional – see end of page 9)

A small amount of interfacing for the zipper area

OR

For the skirt: A length of medium-weight, picot-edged elastic around 12mm-wide.
