Wimbledon – PDF sewing pattern (sizes 4–20)

This drop-waist, sleeveless design pairs a fitted bodice with a short, gathered skirt for a silhouette that’s equal parts polished and playful — and its sleeveless cut makes it a natural layering piece, worn over a turtleneck or blouse as the weather turns, then back on its own once summer rolls around again.

A faux button placket runs down the front for a classic finish, while an invisible zip at the centre back keeps the closure clean and hidden. Suitable fabric:
For the main fabric: light to medium-weight woven fabrics such as cotton lawn, cotton poplin, crepe, chambray, lightweight wool, lightweight needlecord.
For the lining: lightweight woven fabrics such as cotton lawn or 'lining' fabric.

50cm/20-inch invisible zip. Small amount of interfacing for centre-back. 12 x 10mm/½-inch buttons or 6 x 25mm/1-inch buttons. Hook and eye (optional).
